Hello AGAIN! I am taking a small break from the chair to work on a cup and saucer that I have been meaning to try.

With this it was pretty easy. I did same thing similar to this with the mustache mug. Which I think I never posted. :( bummer. Oh Well! Heres how I did it!

What you will need:

  • Mug: I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond. $3.99
  • Paint: Pebeo Vitrea Relief Transparent paint.
  • stick(s)

How I got the lines spaced pretty perfectly is I put together three sticks together and drew a line so I knew where to paint the line. You can make you're spacing whatever you like.

After I drew the lines I painted with the paint the lines ....DUH!

Then I started the herringbone pattern, i sometimes made the lines too thick or off a bit.

with the Saucer I just put the cup on the saucer and marked where each line was on the cup, and used the stick as a straight edge.

YAY! DONE!
Oh! FYI follow the instructions on the paint bottle to set the paint

Tomorrow I will post the second part of the chair. Im really getting some head way on it! ALMOST DONE!!!!
